Countertop support brackets from Iron Supports® give granite, quartz, marble, concrete, Silestone, Corian, and butcher block overhangs the structural support they need. Choose from two support styles: hidden support brackets are concealed under the countertop and keep the space below open. Decorative iron corbels (or metal corbels, as some say) are gusseted L-bracket supports that add a touch of style. All support brackets are made from American steel, hand-crafted in Sheboygan, WI.

Countertop support brackets are the quiet backbone of any overhang, the hidden muscle that lets a slab of stone float without a forest of legs. We build them two ways, so you get to pick the look.
Hidden countertop support brackets mount into the wall framing or cabinet and disappear under your granite, quartz or butcher block, keeping knee room and stool space wide open. There is a hidden bracket for every build: flat and L brackets for knee walls and pony walls, island brackets for cabinet bases, center mount brackets for overhangs on both sides of a wall, and floating wall brackets for bar tops and desks with no cabinet underneath. When you can’t get into the framing, front mount L brackets fasten to the face of a wall or cabinet.
Want the support to be part of the design? Decorative iron countertop corbels are made to be seen, a little curve and scrollwork under a farmhouse island or a butcher block bar. Corbels come in several widths and styles, in four iron finishes.
Not sure about size, spacing or weight ratings? The FAQs below cover how far a countertop can overhang, how many brackets you need and how far apart, and what each bracket is rated to carry. Every product page also has a size and quantity guide. Pick the look first, the strength is already baked in. Questions? Email hello@ironsupports.com or call (888) 971-3771.
